Frisco is a place where loved community traditional celebrations are cherished. The holidays are a particularly exciting time. From Thanksgiving to New Years, Frisco’s streets are alive with activity. Halfway through the holiday season, already a lot of exciting activities have passed. From the November community parade to the St. Jude’s Give Thanks Walk to the North Texas Turkey Trot, Frisco has proven its lust for life as well as its dedication for charity. If you’ve missed these recent events, don’t worry! There are still many to come!
Ongoing Events
Some of the holiday activities available to people living or traveling through Frisco are ongoing. From November through January 4th you can Skate the Square in Frisco’s outdoor ice rink! For the second year, you can enjoy the festive lights and the rush of skating under the stars. There will also be occasional performances and exhibitions by special gifts. Don’t miss it!
Merry Main Street
Every year, Frisco’s main street comes alive as vendors, performances, and activities flood the streets and bring the city alive! Parents and kids can enjoy time shopping for Christmas gifts and experiencing the Christmas spirit. Meet Santa and his Reindeer (yes, real live reindeer!) as well as horse-drawn carriage rides. Sample delicious treats and enjoy the entertainment brought to you by the adorable children from Frisco’s elementary schools. There will also be a gingerbread house contest which you can register for now!
